English Country Dance Tunes

Edited by Mike Raven

This is the much revised edition of The Bible of English Country Dance. The facsimiles of The English Dancing Master and  The Beggar's Opera remain and many of the tunes have been reset. There is music here from the 13th to the 20th century and examples of various forms: Morris, ceremonial and sword dances, jigs, reels, waltzes, cotillions, polkas, scottisches, marches, quadrilles, branles, hornpipes, square dances, long dances, mazurcas and galliards not to mention laments and exotic novelty dances.

includes over 1000 tunes, 340 pages with some history.
